Your CD is simply amazing!!! Not only is it musical perfection-we learned a lot from listening! Thank you so much for sending it to us... #8 Rock the Net (we just love the song and what it's about)
#10 Open the Door (... the topic of the song couldn't be more relevant... for me personally-it's my favorite song on a CD full of favorites)...So, as you can see, we are quite excited by your music.

I read the article in the Chicago Parent Magazine (March 2002, www.chicagoparent.com) in reference to your fantastic educational CD entitled "Mind Games." I will be ordering your workbook in the next two weeks. What you have done is truly an inspiration to all people who are concerned about the education of their children.

I received the CD today! (4
copies) I am listening to it for the 4th time
right now!!
Most of the time,words are
hard to understand on records, cassettes, CDs.
However, the whole sound of your CD is crisp and clear. It's "withit"
hip
hop genre of today's young people will make them want to dance
(me too!) and
sing along. Unlike a lot of music today this sound is also delightful
and
upbeat. I think I'm partial to "adjectives, continents, and
fractions."
The best part is that the listener (some adults as well as kids)will
actually learn something. I hope you are working on a 2nd release.

Yes, I did receive the CD and I actually just finished adding it to my lesson plans. I am using it for my measurement lesson, which I just happen to be in the middle of. The music is so fun. I played it for the other fifth grade teacher and she is already asking me where she can get it. Thanks again for shipping the CD.

"It's superlative. It's just amazing! You have really achieved something here that transcends the medium. I want to add my voice to the people who have congratulated you already...This thing is on fire!"

As teachers, it is often difficult to find new and creative ways to introduce or convey new concepts and skills. However, this cd gives us an extraordinary opportunity to "sneak in" necessary materials through catchy lyrics and toe-tapping beats. The kids love it and they are dancing, singing and learning all at the same time!

Chuck, I listened to the CD
and was blown away by the concept and quality of your production.
I let the kids in my 6th, 7th and 8th grade classes listen to
the CD. They had real positive things to say about it.
Some liked the beats and others liked the fact that it did not
have any cursing or sex in the songs. I let my own children
hear it and they can't stop saying "Open the door yeah open
the door!" They really like the "Continents"
song.
I love what you are doing. This brings yet another tool in the
classroom to help kids learn.
More attention is needed to bring out the fact that what worked
in the classroom many years ago needs updating. Mind Games
is one tool that is definitely needed to help update the learning
process.
This educational hip-hop can only enhance the educational experience
to be had by all students no matter what their ethnicity happens
to be. Keep up the good work and I will continue to spread the
word.

I wanted to tell you that the kids just love it. I used it with a language arts lesson on direct objects of verbs and now as an extra credit project three of my boys are trying to create a rap of their own. Even though I have only used the CD in two of my lessons, the other in mathematics, my kids request that I play the CD in the background when they get quiet homework time. I think you have done a very nice job in finding the music that they can relate to. I even have kids asking me where they can buy it.
I love watching them listen. They really think they are getting away with something being able to listen to cool music in class. What they don't realize is that the very next day they were able to sing the chorus and other parts of the song without looking at the song sheets I gave them. Talk about sneaking in learning!
WHAT KIDS ARE SAYING:
"The words are real good. They really stress a point and it's easy to understand and to catch the meaning."
"I think the lyrics are cool and if you really listen you can actually learn something."
"The music was very educational and it is a good way to inform younger kids. The words flowed together and rhymed in a good way."
"I like it because kids can relate to it."
"This cd was straight. The lyrics are very understandable. The flows are tight with the raps and the singing."
"The words they use are perfect for learning and at the same time we can relate to them."
"...the lyrics help explain what and how it works." (the metric system)
"Lyrics- they were good they made me think. They were really hip and they have a get up type of beat."
